Every visit to the car-free village of Eggberge feels like a break from everyday life. Our mountain inn is only 9 minutes above Altdorf / Flüelen and Lake Lucerne - but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the world. In 2019 we lovingly renovated the house (and again in autumn 2023 we renovated the attic rooms!), including our rooms in a modern chalet style. We have left the traditional heart of the house: lots of wood and homeliness. We have added en-suite shower / WC, comfortable box spring beds, fast WIFI, TV, and a kettle for making tea and coffee.

All our guests receive a 20% discount off the cable car journey to Eggberge. Just show your reservation confirmation at the ticket office at the valley station.
Breakfast is included. Enjoy crispy bread, rolls, freshly baked croissants, jams, cheese and meat from the region as well as juice, coffee and tea.

A compact but cosy double room with lovely open views over the fields and the rising mountain beyond. Rustic alpine style combined with modern comforts, with our standard shower, but still leaves nothing to be desired after a fulfilling day. Attic Double Room 'Brunnistock' (Shared WC)
Newly renovated rooms available from December 2023: A cozy room with one double bed and one comfortable sofa/bed. Ideal for couples, or a family of 3 people, or for sharing adults wanting separate beds. Amazing views over the valley and mountains opposite. Wash basin in the room. This room shares a modern shower/wc with one other room that is accessed via the corridor. Eggberge Chapel Apartment -
7 Nights
ONLY possible from Saturday to Saturday (7 nights = CHF 400.-)
Fully equipped holiday home. Only 2 minutes from the hotel and the cable car and 5 minutes from the ski lift in the Marienkapelle with a beautiful view.
In the entrance area there is a cloakroom for coats/jackets and shoes and there is space for luggage. Upstairs is the bedroom with a double bed, 43" TV, WIFI, small seating area and panoramic views of the Uri Alps. Next door is the bathroom with shower and toilet and an incredible view of the Rophaien. The separate kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, stove and oven. Nespresso coffee maker, toaster, kettle, cooking utensils and crockery.
Would you like to enjoy breakfast with us? For 15.-/ person you can help yourself from 8:00-10:00 a.m. at the buffet in the hotel. Please reserve it in advance.
